Divine Mercy Academy

At Divine Mercy Academy (DMA), every child is seen, known, and nurtured. As a K–8 Catholic school dedicated to serving students with learning differences, their goal is to help each child reach their highest potential by providing them with tools to successfully enter the high school of their choice. The programs at DMA are funded by tuition; but since its goal is not to turn away any student in need, it relies on the generosity of private donors, grants, sponsorships and fundraisers.

Thanks to the generous support of Meadowbrook Country Club, Red Run Golf Club, and Western Golf & Country Club, nearly 100 students benefitted in 2024.

In particular, funding from Western Golf & Country Club made it possible for 30 DMA students in grades 1 through 5 to attend the beloved Planting the Seeds of Leadership Camp, a summer day camp designed to build confidence, foster friendships, and help children thrive both in and outside the classroom. At camp, students practiced public speaking, reading comprehension, and goal setting, while also learning valuable social skills like kindness, collaboration, and communication. They played, created, and encouraged each other, all while quietly planting seeds of self-esteem and leadership that will blossom for years to come.
